Eric and Jason have been great friends since middle school and their personalities are so similar it’s sometimes scary. We’ve been missing our WI friends since moving to Georgia six years ago so we were beyond thrilled when Eric called to ask if he and his daughter, Riley, could come down for a visit. They arrived this past Friday and it didn’t take more than 5 minutes for Riley to fit right in with our crazy bunch!
We had a relaxing start Saturday morning and then headed to the GA Aquarium in the afternoon.
The kids loved the area where you can actually touch baby sting rays and sharks.
The aquarium was packed and we lost Jameson about 67 times. I was finally able to get all four kids together long enough for one picture.

We ended our visit with the penguins and beluga whales.
Since we managed to walk out of the aquarium with all four kids that we walked in with, we treated them to some free time at the playground while us parents took a breather.
Our next stop was to stuff our faces with pizza at Big Pie in the Sky in Kennesaw. I have never before seen such enormous pizzas! I shared a cheese pizza with the kids while Jason and Eric both wolfed down a slice of the “Carnivore”. Yum, yum!
We ended our day with a dusk golf cart ride at Mimi & Bumpa’s house to see the fireflies. I think by the time we got home, the parents were more worn out than the kids:) Thanks Eric and Riley for sharing such a wonderful day with us!!!
