Our Crazy Life

Raising three kids just one day at a time

About Me February 20, 2009

I’ve been married to Jason since October 2001.  Since our wedding day, we’ve made many life changes starting with the birth of our oldest son, Ayden, in August of 2004.  Seven months after Ayden was born we decided to move from Wisconsin to Georgia.  We purchased a home in Tyrone and shortly after found out we were pregnant with Jameson who was born in May of 2006.  Ayden and Jameson are two crazy, rambunctious and hilarious little boys.  Life with them is never dull so people were not surprised when we decided not to have anymore children.  Imagine our astonishment when we found out in April of 2008 that we were going to have another baby.  It wasn’t until our sweet baby Ava arrived in November, that we knew our family wasn’t complete without her.  With three children, two dogs and both parents working…our house is constantly in motion.  Even though there are times when I feel the pressure of balancing all of my roles (wife, mother, daughter, friend, career woman), I wouldn’t give any of it up.  I am a stronger and better person because of it all.

When I do manage to find some “me” time, you can usually find me in my mom’s scrap studio with the Divas.  I am so fortunate to have found 4 other women who share so many of my passions…scrapping, photography, travel and cooking.  The precious time that I get with these women is what keeps me sane.

If there is one person who keeps me grounded throughout it all, it would be Jason.  He’s my rock.  He supports me in anything I choose to do.  He understands my need to escape every now and then and never says no to one of my adventures with the traveling Divas.  He never fails to forget that the first Sunday of each month is Scrap Club and he has long gotten over the fact that there is always a camera around.  I’m so proud of the father he has become and am so thankful to have him as my husband.

I hope you enjoy reading about my family and our life experiences.

Jamie
